The early Stickley catalogs were a lot more than just a list of mission furniture and photos for shopping.  The early Stickley Catalogs were meant as a marketing tool for the overall mission, or arts and crafts style of furniture.

Much of Gustov's early publications were intended as much toward the furniture builder as they were targeted for Stickley customers.

If you build mission furniture, or are just interested in the style, these items from the Stickley are worth a browse through.  Many of these styles, are available from Stickley today with only minor design changes from these 100 year old designs.
